Chrysler 7-Cut Determinator

Now you can do all double-sided Dodge and Chrysler vehicles introduced in 1989 and now the standard lock system for these cars.
With the Chrysler Determinator you will be able orginate keys very quickly.
The Chrysler DETERMINATOR set works on all Chrysler products using the double-sided key.
When used properly you will be able to generate a key for a vehicle in just a few moments.
There are three keys in the Chrysler DETERMINATOR set.
The key stamped 12345 works on 1990-1992 models using the Y154 key blank.
The key stamped 34567 works on 1993-1995 models with door spaces 3-7.
The key stamped 1234567 works on 1995 and later models with door spaces 1-7.
The DETERMINATOR determines the depth of a tumbler by tapping the 3 and 4 tumblers and passing the1 and 2 tumblers.
As you decode the lock record an "A" if the DETERMINATOR passes a tumbler and record a "B" if it is tapped.
Cut all "A" cuts to a 1 1/2 depth, and cut all "B" cuts to a 3 1/2 depth.
The result is a custom half-cut tryout key

THE TOOL
The DETERMINATOR is a decoding tool and a tumbler release tool.
The DETERMINATOR has numbers stamped on both sides of the blade.
These numbers correspond to the tumbler space locations.
When the tool is inserted into the lock, the number closest to the face of the lock indicates the space which is being determined.
When the DETERMINATOR taps a 3 or 4 tumbler you will use the spring steel release tool to raise the tumbler and withdraw the DETERMINATOR to the next tumbler location.
Slide the release tool along the slot in the side of the tool, sloped end first.
You will feel it raise the tumbler, slowly pull the DETERMINATOR out a little to the next space and remove the release tool.
